Explorer Pilot-A858, Culinary Specialist-42I8, Sanitary Technician-HJ4K Summarize what you know about the species Adherenet are a loosely connected machine-like servants who are devoted to their long dead creator. They are lead by Traffic Control Hub 37-Q. They have 3 factions, Loyalists, Preservers, and Separatists, with Loyalist being the largest and most powerful. Their general archetype is weird but friendly alien servitor. .Each of the 3 factions have varying ideologies. The Loyalists are the most conservative and follow the protocol rigidly. They utterly devote themselves to serving. The Preservers are a loose movement dedicated to preserving the world they explore as untouched and perfect as the day they arrived. They have an extreme faction called Mourners, dedicated to telling the tragedies of the places they came across. The final and most radical factions is the Separatists, who believe that they should more loosely interpret the protocol. l and focus on themselves instead of searching for their long gone masters. The Adherents are physically one to thirty double-fist-sized masses of silicon crystals, generally installed inside a crystal-ceramic shell depending on their role and duties. There internal systems are managed by electricity, which gives their natural language almost musical in nature. They are 2-3 meters tall and have 5-8 tentacles dangling from their head, which houses all the important parts. Their culture is based entirely upon servitude. This was due to their original purpose being built as servants to an extinct alien race. Those who prioritize themselves over others are considered dangerous radicals. The leader of the Vigil is Core System Traffic Control Hub 37-Q, stationed at the smallest moon of Canon. It is a staunch Loyalist and rigidly applies the protocol.
