This term of Seniority has been my first on the server. While I have been ensured that the amount of retirements and step-downs is a drastic outlier, I feel something needs to be put in place to prevent this system from becoming problematic and placing the power of Seniority into an admin sheer out of the seeming necessity for someone to hold the power. Think of it as every Line Officer being dead, so now the freshly commissioned Bridge Officers are now being dropped into command of the ship. The proposal is simple. In the event that the third Senior to hold a given position has chosen to step down or is otherwise removed from their position, or in the event that such happens to any Senior within one month of the standard time of the end of the term, the Senior will not be replaced during that term. Instead, all matters within that position of imminent need and necessity are placed under the authority of the Head Administrator until a proper election at the change of the term places a new, full-fledged Senior into the position. A Head Administrator acting in this capacity would not be expected to cause drastic alterations to the relevant staff department, and is only acting in a capacity to cover relatively simple or pressing matters regarding the role, such as Custom Item Application from the duties of a Lore Manager. TL;DR - instead of voting for the fourth Lore/Staff/Community Manager of a term, or voting within a month of term-end, power of that department is given to the Head Administrator, they just aren't expected to go crazy with it.
