Why do you want to become a developer?:
Primarily to help lessen the load on Spookerton and the other people applying for dev if they're accepted for reviewing PRs (Reviews that actually let a PR get merged and aren't just a token grey checkmark), handling merges, and debugging issues on the server. I'm already a fairly active contributor to the repo, and Alex suggested I apply to actually become a dev. I've also already started going over new PRs and reviewing for any obvious issues to try to4 help out. I'm far from an expert in DM, but I know enough to help contribute and get the maintainer side of things rolling.

Do you have any experience in open source projects?:
Only SS13 codebases for Aurora, Baystation12, and Nebula.

Not sure if this is useful input, but Sierra has been active for awhile and has generally shown both a willingness to slog through learning annoying/complicated stuff, and the humility to seek assistance with it. Personally I would vote to let her have a go if I was still a dev.

Adding to the above: I can't necessarily attest to the quality of Sierra's code, but on a personality level, they are definitely a 'good noodle'.

I'll throw my name behind Sierra as well. I was trying to figure out where I recognized the name from only to realize they had been consistently making PRs for the last two years I was a dev, and after review, I'd definitely like to see them a part of the team as well.

Sierra has been consistently active, making lots of QoL improvements and bugfixes.

They are a good bean and would be an asset to the Dev team.
