Why can't the Trainee Medical Technician be a Civilian?
Apart from dept head, all other roles can be civ, including the direct up-level that is Medical Technician. This is probably just an overlooked thing, right?
Personally, I like medical a lot and would love to see even more useless trainee-level titles.

Doesn't make sense for the government to train civilians. Civilian contractors are specialists hired because of their skills.

Doesn't make sense to hire someone who has no skills for a skilled job.

Could the councillor have a small room to detain patients who they deem to be incapacitated? Similar to sec but with some books maybe a tv? Might facilitate role play when people have implants Etc

A Chem Dispenser Hidden In Maintenance
I really enjoy dealing drugs, but a lot of people aren't willing to be bribed or asked kindly to let me use their chemistry sets. The locations they are at are usually require trespassing. Would it be possible to map in one that is in the maintenance tunnels somewhere so I can brew my steroid-loco and happy pills acceptably?

It'd be too OP. Maybe random stuff that you can make drugs from, but not a full dispenser.

I like that suggestion. Would be a good use for the detritus and remains that litter the tunnels. There is that old abandoned medical area with a chem bottler and a heater available. Would be perfect! Live the life of a tunnel dweller :D

  8. CL office still has the secret manila envelope in the back room. It's long obsolete.

It might be cool if there could be some sort of replacement to it, but that's not a little thing.

Also, someone stole the one-bullet holdout pistol from the CL's workplace crisis management book.

    The pistol was removed.

My suggestion is to add some sort of graphic to the various stamps found in the game.

Many other servers do have these, such as paradise, and they both serve to give just that little bit more immersion and also as a way to prevent stamp forgeries. At the moment, I'm fairly certain all someone has to do is write This paper has been stamped with ___'s stamp, and there would be no way to tell the difference between that and an actual stamped paper.

Pic attached is an example of stamp graphics found on many servers.

    stamps use the sign font:

they also get a stamp sprite, but that can be defeated by stamping it with the generic stamp and photocopying to remove the color

you could also create a character named "This paper has been stamped with the chief medical officer's rubber stamp." and defeat this by using [sign] but that would be against the rules

They literally linked a picture to how it would look. I totally agree it should be implemented to be honest, it's pretty cool.

you know what would be a quality of life improvment? having the haircuts categorized.
"CIA" doesnt tell me how long the hair is "Short: CIA" does.

i agree, i would like to see this in the game, i was just correcting
which is not literally true. the stamp line uses a font that is not possible to use unless there is an exploit i'm not aware of, like injecting html with your character's name, or making your character's name "This paper has been..." etc

I'm sorry if it's a case of 'God, THIS again?', but has there been a suggestion that slipping and falling having a chance at causing injury?

After all, it's one of the leading causes of work place injuries IRL.

im on the other side of things, how about we remove some of the things that slip people like soap or banana peals. the reason would be that i personally only see shitters use theese things in the most innappropiate moments possible, like in the middle of combat.

Maybe a buff to falling one Z-level damage. As it is now, its basically no biggie, and doesn't require infirmary (The pain text that you receive definitively imply you need to go to the infirmary, but when you arrive, you've already self-healed. So some nerf to self heal is another suggestion)

Maybe keep at it a small risk of slipping instead of like now, I believe its 100%

Actually that depends on your athletics setting, with basic/no athletics, you got a good chance to get a dislocated limb.

That's good to know, thanks. I love a good uniform, and I like to be fairly young, so almost all my characters are rather fit, and I've never gotten hurt.
