like a pulse rifle? good idea....
Really small suggestion, but I would like to see Fleet fatigues that security and medical get added to the uniform vendor or the loadout screen available to every Fleet member.
Quite a few people seem to like their look much more compared to the standard Fleet utes, and fatigues would fit in with some other heavily physical jobs such as Engineering or Supply.
That was already suggested several times, and got yeeted out by the big masters. I tried to make some less ugly coveralls already, even if it doesn't match the fashion level of the fatigues.
Alright, so, idea:
Subject: Add Accessible Navigational Data Disks to Relevant Player-Operated Craft
Rationale: one of the primary objectives of the Torch is exploration, that is, gathering information on star systems that it passes through. Normally, this is accomplished through our exploration team's diligent offsite expeditions. But what if there was another way? What if the Torch could obtain navigational data from the computer banks of ships it comes across, especially local system data from the merchant ship. If the Torch then has the opportunity to negotiate for that information, wonderful! More opportunities for roleplay, even if having that data doesn't confer in-round benefits beyond bragging rights.
Likewise, the Torch could have a data disk of its own, representing its amassed findings and holding the coveted astronomical coordinates of Sol, to be defended and sought after in a similar fashion to the nuclear disk; a potential objective for antagonists.
Requirements: As near as I can tell, the requirements would include the creation of items (such a disk exists in some form, somewhere, associated with an exploration site) and positioning those items within any craft that would reasonably have navigation information on a single local system or across various systems the craft had visited.
Add 121.5 and 243.0 (henceforth known as guard) as emergency communications frequencies, basically meaning the Bridge would have an intercom always listening to them. This would reflect how actual aircraft and such work, and coincidentally those are the frequencies currently utilized as Guard. Basically just a dedicated freq for calling for help.
Make people that speak in all-caps for too long have an increasing chance of suffering from a heart failure, depending on age.
Ah yes, the Buck Sloan mechanic
Runtime should act more like a cat! Yes, we know she ganks mice and sees ghosts, but there's more to the feline species. Let's give her more behavior characteristic of the little furry bastards we love.
When standing on a table with an item, cats should push the item off the table onto an adjacent floor tile.
Should occasionally take naps ("sleeping" sprite recommended but optional)--stays in one place for ~10 minutes or so.
Do something about the weirdness where the cat will do things like hiss, "Purr!" and purr, "Hisss!"
A few more emotes. For example: "[Cat] trips over [its] own paws, but totally meant to do that."; "[Cat] licks [its] whiskers."; "[Cat] pounces on a shadow."; "[Cat] grabs [object] and begins kicking and biting it vigorously."; "[Cat] sharpens [its] claws on the [nearby furniture]."; "[Cat] licks [its] [paws/tail/chest/belly/butt]."; "[Cat] licks the [nearby food item]".
Since admins like to do random Bluespace anomalys from time to time, it would be great to give admins the abillity to enpower an object with bluespace/ anomalous traits, this would either do nothing except show on the anomaly scanner science has.
example: anomalous activity is detected within [Object name] [admin input desciption of the anomaly]
Or it could also give the object a pre-set function such as teleporting when touched, disapearing and reaprearing or something along thoose lines.
Separate names with a comma.
